Multi-tasking Mom - Multi-tasking BB Cream

I am always on the lookout for a product that can solve more than one problem while saving time - so-  I am in love with BB Cream. It works as a perfector, light foundation, moisturizes, and provides SPF. While I am not giving up my Smasbox healthyFX foundation forever, I am giving it up for summer for something a little lighter. I have tried both these products and they work great. They even out your skin tone without looking cakey. I favour the Dr. Brandt for the higher SPF - but you can't beat the price of the Garnier. They look a little light until you blend it in and they magically convert to your skin tone so you can have superchic skin too!

Utility Chic - One Jacket Two Looks

A utility jacket does just what it is named for - it's useful! Here it can go both ways: over a lace dress for date night or over your striped tank and denim for a breezy day at the park or playground. The aviators are also the "utility" sunglass. They can toughen up the lace look and sexy up the park look. On a footnote - my feet are always happy in my TOMS! And TOMS are super kid friendly - you can run after yours in them and a kid in need gets a pair when you buy a pair.

Roots Roots Go Away!

So, my days of monthly hair appointments and lounging at the salon have ended. Of course, they are filled with other fun stuff, like checking out huge animated dinosaurs at the local science museum. The point of this post - hair powder. If you are like me -after about 8 weeks of no salon - you maybe have some of your actual hair color showing up at the roots, or even worse - greys! Well, this handy product is a lifesaver. Balk at the price, but a bottle lasts forever and will get you through to your next appointment. It also adds body and doubles up as dry shampoo. Worth every penny to keep you looking super chic!
