Trenches More For Less

All this rain has me thinking of trench coats. While I would love to spurge on the ever classic Burberry, I really want my kid to be able to go to college some day, and there is just no need to spend that much. There is such a great selection of great looking quality, classic looking trench coats at every price point. All of the above coats ( except the lust item in center) are under $150.00. J Crew Factory  and Gap also have great options. You can literally throw a trench on over anything and look instantly chic. Where is yours from?

Melting Snow

At some point, all of this New England snow is going to melt, and that will makes for one big  mess. If you are a mom, you know how to handle a mess (always carry wipes!) . Mess of mud or not,  I can't wait to start playing outside again without snow pants, mittens, and scarves. I finally purchased some plain black wellies that will take me, hopefully chicly, through the soon to be coming early spring melting. What are you wearing for early spring?

C'est La Vie for under $50

So, I never go into Forever 21 because, let's be real, at some point you just aren't forever 21 and you have to face it. However, since I am on a budget, I thought let me check this place out, and came out with the red version of this c'est la vie sweater. If you have been following my blog, you know I get obsessed with anything Parisian Chic, and this fit the bill. Now, I don't have a girl, but if I did, I would be buying this cute little cashmere number and Minnie flats - both are affordable. Who doesn't like to be cuddled in cashmere? I also have been wanting to try the trendy "smoking slipper" but at a good price point, and Voila - found these. Since it's still winter throw your camel coat over as a topper. Transition this into spring with white jeans. And oh, why no outfit posts recently - my camera broke. Promise more coming soon......
