This is an outfit I wore to Church and then running errands. I have a small collection of blazers because I sometimes struggle how to wear them when the weather gets cooler and you need something warmer on top. I hate stuffing them into my down coat. After all, we Moms need our arms to feel unrestricted. I have tried this look with a down vest over as a topper. The great thing about a blazer is it pulls together an otherwise casual look ( jeans and a tee) and gives just enough polish you can easily transition to work, church, and dinner. I also am a fan of J. Crew's new Schoolboy Blazer. With a 25% off coupon it seems like a good value as a timeless piece I will have for years. The longer length of the new version is more flattering than the classic and the body seems more tailored. I was able to go up a size without it looking boxy so I can fit a sweater underneath to wear this deeper into fall and winter.
How do you style your blazers? Do you think blazers are practical for busy Moms?
