Yes -it's Saturday ! The weekend is here. Although I know that for many of you that means running around to games, activities, and fairs! I am getting together with all of my college friends for a reunion and can't wait! So I am keeping this post short and sweet. Wishing you all a great weekend!

We went out for a family dinner this weekend and it was somewhat cloudy and threatening rain so I felt the need for a little pop of color to brighten the mood. I purchased these classically shaped stilettos from old Navy and they have been a great buy. They have a walkable heel and a perfect pointy toe, in addition to being budget friendly!

 

I did finally get to break out the sandals this weekend. I also wore these ankle strap sandals from Old Navy with these jeans on Memorial Day. By the way - I am not a paid speaker for Old Navy but have been loving their shoes lately since they let me work the trends without breaking bank!

Summer BBQ Ready

It is officially our first summer holiday weekend! Yeah! I hope everyone has good weather this weekend to enjoy BBQ season kick off. It can still be a little cool this time of year so here is some BBQ style inspiration. I always wear flats to a BBQ....how about you? My days of wearing heels to an outdoor party are over - I need to be fast on my feet to race after my little man!

Another great part about this weekend.....Memorial Day Sales! I am praying J. Crew starts a percentage off their new arrivals because I have a few items on my wish list like this surfboard sweater, this Mark Alary bracelet (at a fraction of his fine jewelry prices), and this palm print tee. Nordstrom is also having it's half yearly sale. Sadly, these Rag & Bone Newbury Boots I have been wanting are not on sale :(. Think I will try E-bay.
