| I love a simple strapless jersey dress for the summer. You can dress it up so easily with some leopard sandals and some gold jewelry. What I like about this look better than your typical cover up, is you can really wear it from the pool to the car and even for lunch without feeling exposed. The black doesn't even show if a little wets gets through from your suit is underneath. The tote has enough room for your and your kids needs and patent is way more water resistant than regular leather or canvas. The bag is a little pricey (on sale now at Toryburch.com) but so versatile, and can even function as a diaper bag if you throw a changing pad in. What do you wear poolside? |

| So, I never go into Forever 21 because, let's be real, at some point you just aren't forever 21 and you have to face it. However, since I am on a budget, I thought let me check this place out, and came out with the red version of this c'est la vie sweater. If you have been following my blog, you know I get obsessed with anything Parisian Chic, and this fit the bill. Now, I don't have a girl, but if I did, I would be buying this cute little cashmere number and Minnie flats - both are affordable. Who doesn't like to be cuddled in cashmere? I also have been wanting to try the trendy "smoking slipper" but at a good price point, and Voila - found these. Since it's still winter throw your camel coat over as a topper. Transition this into spring with white jeans. And oh, why no outfit posts recently - my camera broke. Promise more coming soon...... |

| Well, the holidays are approaching rapidly and despite filling up on turkey I still have a craving -planning my holiday party outfit (which usually consists of a dress and tights). This year I am going to try something different. A tartan print totally evokes the holidays for me and who can resist some sequins. The sequins add a little glam to what could be an almost dowdy print. If you have a little one - babies love looking at sequins...anything that shines and reflects the light is an eye catcher. If I have put on a few pounds from all the indulging, I will blame it on the plaid. And a great tip - keep wearing your sequins all year long by toning them down after with a chambray shirt with a sequin bottom, or a turtleneck under the sequin tops and jeans below. | Woke up to a chill in the air today. After fighting with the kiddo to have him wear a fleece and not just short sleeve shirt and shorts, turned to my own wardrobe selection. Nothing beats a legging for comfort, but they are just not quite warm enough this time of year without a little more substance. But a ponte knit legging solves that problem. They are thicker so you don't feel like you are wearing workout gear, flex when you squat down to pick up that lollipop that fell in the dirt, and still tuck neatly into your riding boots. A red lip and animal print pop the nuetral colors and prvide a little glam. The bag is big enough for all your wipes and snacks and has a shoulder strap so you can function hands free. Maybe it's not so bad it's getting colder...? |

| So, invited to a party with or without the kids and it's going to be really HOT because it's summer and we are having a heat wave? Hmmmm....what to wear?
