Summer Stripes into Fall

Summer Stripes into Fall
I really don't want summer to be over since it is my favorite season! In this look, I am trying to find a way to stretch some of my summer items into fall with things I already have. What items are you stretching into fall?

I have a few friends whose kids are off to kindergarten or college! How is everyone doing with your kids back at school?

Have  great day!

Same Accessories, Two Nautical Looks

Same Accessories, Two Nautical Looks
I have been inspired by so many of my fave bloggers lately ( see here and here)  wearing some of these items that I wanted to see what I could do to use them in different ways using the same accessories, but different core pieces that I already have. I feel like both these looks easily transition from day to night (at least in a mom's world) due to the bold gold accessories and hint of bling on the sandals and top! A bright coral lipstick gives that pop of color. Recognize some of these items?....I believe in an edited closet, buying items that multi-task just like all you moms do! How do you mix up looks around accessories?

Runway Look, Mom Price

Runway Look, Mom Price
I featured this insanely chic, comfy (it's all cotton), and versatileMichale Kors sweater in a blog post not long ago. Wanted to find for my myself and friends a cheaper chic alternative. Gotta Love H&M. The sweater on the left is a close match. Buy it a few sizes up for that boyfriend look. And could faux fur be looking any better these days? I really love this look because you can wear it with a multitude of pant styles, boots, flats and heels. Bonus -your kids will love "petting" your scarf. They could even name it. And we've done no harm to any animals because it's faux. What are your fave glam mom looks for fall?

Summer To Fall Silk

Summer To Fall Silk
I know what you are thinking....silk...for a mom? I know  it does take a little more care, and you might not want to wear this if you know there is a good chance you are going to get spit up on, but the silhouette of this blouse is utterly casual and it can transition super well into fall if you add a grey cardigan or blazer. Still hot out? Trade the jean for denim shorts. This top can be so easily dressed up with the necklace, but you could even try it with sweatpants and these flats. I know the bag is a little pricey, but it is just so sick I couldn't resist. A Mom does need to splurge now and then. I am obsessed with turquoise and a pop of bright pink or coral.on the lips. For fall, change the coral out for the red matte lip that I am reading is going to be the it lip for fall.
